Sorry, then I'm out of ideas. All the Mouse clicks are handled by the data grid, I don't do anything special.

However there are two workarounds:
Use Ctrl+Enter instead of Mouse DblClick to enter edit mode.
If you write text into an empty cell: Just use a single click and start typing.
